Annual General Meeting 2004
At the recent Annual Parish Council Meeting and regular Parish Council Meeting the following items were discussed:
Annual Parish Meeting:
The new Chairperson, David Neve, read out the previous Chairman's report. This covered various aspects of what has been discussed at the meetings throughout the year. A new Parish Clerk was appointed from January this year. The Millennium Centre will now join onto the changing rooms when they have been upgraded and building regulations have been received for these. The Parish Plan has been completed and analysed and will be delivered to every home in the village in the very near future.
Parish Council Meeting:
Hemsby Medical Centre - a letter has been sent to Borough Councillor, Shirley Weymouth, asking her to investigate why the new system for appointments, which residents have not found satisfactory, has been changed. Updates were given on the Coast Watch situation and the Changing Rooms for the Playing Field. In Bloom - everyone was thanked for their hard work in getting the village ready and looking beautiful for the judging which took place on the
16 July 2004.
