Winterton Parish Council Minutes
16 September 2004
The monthly Parish Council Meeting took place on Thursday 16 September in the Church Room at Winterton on Sea.
There was a good attendance of residents.
Various items were discussed including:-
Mr J Shrimplin, our County Councillor, gave a report.
A meeting is to be held of the Project Steering Committee to push forward the development of the changing room facilities on the playing field. Funding can now be applied for from the Football Association now that the football team have achieved Chartered Status.
The Parish Plan will be delivered to every house in the village on the 25th September 2004 and will be followed by an 'Open Day' on the 9th October 2004 in the Village Hall. The Open Day is for anyone who may have concerns or questions to ask about the Plan or would like to consider assisting in taking the Plans Action Points forward. Our Parish Councillors will be in attendance and available for villagers to talk to.

The Parish Council expressed their gratitude to the "In Bloom" team for their hard work and successes in this year's competitions - Best Large Village in East Anglia; Special award for Tidiest, Litter Free Village AND a Gold Award from the Borough of Great Yarmouth.
