Winterton Parish Council Minutes
15 April 2004
At the last Parish Council meeting held on the 15 April the following items were discussed:-
Vandalism
this is a cause of concern to the residents and it mainly consists of theft, graffiti, vandalism and lately fires. Our local policemen, Stuart Barker, attended the meeting and will be taking the concerns on board and dealing with them.
Coastal Erosion
this is a regular item on the agenda. Terry Byrne, Chairman of the Coastal Erosion Steering Group, updated the Councillors following a recent meeting of the Steering Group. A newsletter has been delivered to every house in the village keeping residents up to date. A meeting was held with other coastal villages and which was very positive.
Coast Watch Tower
This service is greatly valued by residents and visitors to the village and the Parish Council fully support the Coast Watch Tower being reinstated. Mr Alan McMurchie, representing the Coast Watch Tower, will keep the Councillors updated.
