Winterton Parish Council Minutes
12 May 2005
The meeting held on the 12 May 2005 in the Village Hall was very well attended by residents.
The Chairman, David Neve, introduced all the Councillors and Clerk as there were some new faces. He then went on to read out his report for the last year, a copy will be placed in the notice board and on the web site.
He had had a very enjoyable year and was looking forward to continuing in the same way.
Accounts had been prepared by the clerk and the minutes from the meeting last year were agreed by all Councillors and signed by the Chairman.
Reports from the groups in the village on what had been happening in the year and their aims were either read out by a representative from that group or the Chairman. Thanks to all those who took the trouble to do this.
The meeting was then thrown open to the residents asking for their questions, views, problems. There were only two questions; regarding Beach Road pavement and resurfacing of the roads in the village which will be investigated by Cllr Neve.
This was followed a mardle over tea and biscuits, supplied by the Parish Council and thanks to the Councillors for organising this.
A very enjoyable and productive evening was had by all.
